Adelia Derwiecki

Adelia “Dee” Derwiecki, 83, of Southampton passed away peacefully at her sister Dorothy D. Florek’s home in Easthampton Saturday Oct. 22, 2016. Born May 29, 1933, the daughter of the late Stephen and Katarzyna (Rogalska) Derwiecki, Adelia was educated in the Southampton Schools and was a graduate of the Easthampton High School. She was employed as an executive secretary to the President of the former Stanley Home Products in Easthampton, retiring in 1996. She was a lifelong communicant of the former Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, now Our Lady of the Valley Parish in Easthampton, and was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality at the Sacred Heart Church. Adelia leaves her brother Edward Derwiecki of Easthampton, and her nieces and nephews. Adelia was predeceased by her brother Joseph Derwiecki and her sisters Julia Smith, Helen Mills, and Dorothy D. Florek. A calling hour will be held Thursday 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the O’Brien Funeral Home 17 Clark St. Easthampton, followed by a graveside service 12 Noon at the St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Easthampton.
