Amelia Park to host tasting event

WESTFIELD – The Board of Directors of Amelia Park Arena & Garden are pleased to announce that they will be hosting the first-ever Wine & Beer Tasting presented by Firtion Adams Funeral Service to be held in Amelia’s Garden at 21 South Broad Street in Westfield on Friday from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $30 each and are available at the rink, online at www.ameliaparkice.org, and at the gate the night of the event. The event, presented by Firtion Adams Funeral Services, will be a kick-off for the “Thanks a Million, Al”campaign being launched by the arena.
“We are so pleased to be having this event in our beautiful garden,” said Executive Director Carole Appleton. “Our committee of Sue Figy, Holly Amanti, Lisa Sullivan, and Sue Phelon, has worked extremely hard to make it the perfect setting to enter a new era in our history and we all look forward to getting out and showing what we are all about.”
The event will have tastings through Commercial Distributing, Co., Inc. and Westfield Spirit Shop, as well as appetizers presented by the Tavern Restaurant and Westfield Technical Academy Culinary Arts Students.
“This is truly a community spirit event,” said Appleton. “Our raffles and silent auction will have unique elements from our Amelia Park community.”
