Beverly J. McLemore

McLemoreObitPhotoPANAMA CITY, FL – Beverly Joan McLemore, 81, of Panama City, Florida formerly of Westfield, MA was called to eternal rest on March 26, 2014. Born on May 29, 1932 in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late George and Doris Whittingham of Westfield, MA. Beverly was educated in Westfield and a graduate of  Westfield High School.
She was an exceptionally talented artist, musician and gardener. She worked as a dental assistant and seamstress. Beverly and her husband, Edward were passionate breeders of German Shepard and Dachshund’s, boating, scuba diving and travel enthusiasts. She was a member of the St. Andrew Historical Society, Red Hat Society and an active member of  Historic St. Andrew Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Edward McLemore, Sr. of Panama City, FL; a son, Donald G. Hills and wife Abby of Westfield; a daughter, Linda Messenger of Thomaston, CT; stepson, Edward McLemore, Jr. of Westfield; her grandchildren, Erin D’Ambruoso and husband David of Glastonbury, CT, Bruce Witham and wife Melissa of Titusville, FL and three great-grandchildren, Kaleigh and Nicholas D’Ambruoso and Michael Witham. She was also survived by her brother, Bruce Whittingham of Westfield. She was predeceased by her grandson, Michael Corey.
A celebration of Beverly’s life will be held on April 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Historic St. Andrew Church, 1004 Chestnut Avenue, Panama City, FL 32401, Pastor Richard Duncan officiating.
