Charles A. McCoubrey

 

Methuen, MA – Charles A. McCoubrey, 68, of Methuen, MA, passed away at Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, MA on May 17, 2017.

Charles was born in Bridgeport, CT and raised and educated in Agawam, MA. He attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree and then went on to earn his MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Charles worked for the majority of his 40 year career at Converse, currently located in Boston. Charles was an avid Red Sox and W.W.E. fan. He is remembered as a wonderful and generous man who would help anybody he could. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Charles leaves his loving wife Ann (Finnerty) McCoubrey of 34 years. He also leaves his mother, Caroline (Bryant) McCoubrey, brothers, David G. McCoubrey and his girlfriend Cheryl Jackson of Blandford, MA, Kenneth R. McCoubrey of Westfield, MA and John A. McCoubrey and his wife Barbara of Westfield, MA, a brother-in-law, William Finnerty and his wife Jeannie of Charlestown, MA and several nieces and nephews, Kimberly, Jason, Michelle, James, Tammy and Katie. He is predeceased by his father, George McCoubrey.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. Services were private. Donations in Charles’ name may be made the MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is honored to serve the McCoubrey Family.
