Angel J. Figueroa, 20, of 51 Monroe St., 2nd Fl., Springfield, was arraigned on charges of unlicensed operation of motor vehicle, failure to wear seat belt and speeding, with the charge of unlicensed operation of motor vehicle found admission to sufficient facts but continued without a finding until dismissed upon payment of fines, and charges of failure to wear seat belt and speeding dismissed nolle prosequi, charges originally brought by Russell Police.

Colin R. Smith, 20, of 17 Clark St., Westfield, was released on $500 personal surety and with pretrial conditions pending an Oct. 25 hearing after being arraigned on charges of two counts assault and battery and one count threat to commit crime, one count trespass, one count disorderly conduct, one count wanton destruction of property +$250, one count breaking and entering nighttime for felony and one count larceny over $250, brought by State Police Russell.

Freddie Perez, 29, of 116 Byers St., Springfield, had charges of fail to stop for police, unregistered motor vehicle, motor vehicle lights violation and number plate violation dismissed nolle prosequi, while charge of operating motor vehicle with license suspended admission to sufficient facts but continued without a finding until dismissed upon payment of fines, brought by Westfield Police.

Joshua A. DeJesus, 36, of 346 East Mountain Road, Westfield, received was sentenced to nine months in House of Corrections suspended with probation until Aug. 10, 2018 and fines after pleading guilty to charges of assault and battery on family/household member, strangulation or suffocation and assault and battery with dangerous weapon with charges running concurrent, brought by Westfield Police.

Austin J. Ryll, 18, of 276 Hillcrest Ave., West Springfield, was released on his personal recognizance and with pretrial conditions pending an Oct. 25 hearing after being arraigned on charges of malicious destruction of property +$250, breaking and entering nighttime for felony and larceny over $250, brought by State Police Russell.
