Michael T. Wellspeak, 52, of 158 Berkshire Ave., Southwick, was held in lieu of $500 bail pending a March 29 hearing after being arraigned on a charge of assault and battery, brought by Southwick Police.
Matthew M. Mendes, 53, of South Hadley, received credit for time served after pleading guilty to charges of breaking and entering at nighttime for a felony and larceny under $250, originally brought by Westfield Police.
