Carlton B. Hale, 65, of 8 Darby Dr., Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a May 2 hearing after being arraigned on charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operating under the influence of liquor, brought by Westfield Police.

Timmy Taskey, 21, of 6 Cycle St., Westfield, had a charge of failing to stop for police have sufficient facts found but continued without a payment until dismissed upon payment, as well as charges of refuse to produce license/registration/plates and tire outside fender dismissed nolle prosequi, brought by Westfield Police.

John E. Krzykowski, Jr., 54, of 200 Southwick Road, Westfield, was released on $500 bail pending a May 4 hearing after being arraigned on charges of breaking and entering for a misdemeanor and assault and battery on a family/household member, brought by Westfield Police.

William R. Welch, 37, of 19 Meadowbrook Lane, Westfield, was held in lieu of $100 cash bail pending a May 4 hearing after being arraigned on a charge of shoplifting $100+ by concealing merchandise, brought by Westfield Police.

Catherine G. Woods, 20, of 38 Thomas St., Westfield, was released on her personal recognizance pending a May 4 hearing after being arraigned on charges of operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, motor vehicle lights violation, marked lanes violation and breakdown lane violation, brought by Westfield State University Police.

Yevgeniy Y. Babinov, 26, of 9 Hedges Ave., Westfield, received a five-month sentence to House of Corrections after pleading guilty to breaking and entering into a vehicle/boat in nighttime for felony, larceny under $250, attempt to commit crime and larceny under $250, with sentence for charges running concurrent, brought by Westfield Police.

Erik A. Hernandez, 27, of 54 Worcester Ave., Springfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a May 4 hearing after being arraigned on a charge of shoplifting $100+ by concealing merchandise, brought by Westfield Police.
