Timothy M. Jones, 39, of no fixed address in West Springfield, was held in lieu of $2,000 cash bail pending a Nov. 24 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and receiving stolen property valued less than $250 brought by Westfield police.
Linnette Velez, 34, of 801 Dwight St., Holyoke, was found to be responsible for a charge of shoplifting merchandise valued more than $100 brought by Westfield police and was assessed $100.
Julio E. Ortiz, 29, of 181 Beech St., Holyoke, , was found to be responsible for a charge of shoplifting merchandise valued more than $100 brought by Westfield police and was assessed $100.
William C. Deveno, 48, of 16 Blandford Road, Huntington, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of assault and battery on a police officer and a miscellaneous state violation brought by State Police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $50.
Michael J. Holmes, 32, of 20 Malone Ave., was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 7 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of violation of an abuse prevention order brought by Westfield police.
Chasity Saez, 29, of 36 Summit St., Springfield, was found to be responsible for a charge of shoplifting merchandise valued more than $100 brought by Westfield police and was assessed $100.
Jonathan Alvarez, 19, of 55 Mechanic St., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of breaking and entering in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $50.
Eric D. Sadler, 24, of 28 Brenda Drive, was released on $1,000 personal surety pending a Dec. 8 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of violation of an abuse prevention order brought by Westfield police.
Hector L. Lauriano, 29, of 132 Walnut St., Agawam, pleaded guilty to a charge of receiving stolen property brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to a six month term in the house of correction to be served concurrently with a term imposed by Hampden Superior Court. Charges of larceny of property valued less than $250 and breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony were not prosecuted.
