WESTFIELD- Dorothy L (Wood) Kirwin, 99, died Sunday January 11, 2015 at Mont Marie Health Care in Holyoke. Born and raised in Westfield, she was the daughter of the late Grover and Ivy (Larrabee) Wood. Dorothy was a graduate of Westfield High School and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox. She was a retired office clerk at the former White’s Quaint Shoppe in Westfield. She retired in 1978. She was the widow of Raymond E Kirwin who died in 2001. She leaves her children; Nancy (Fred) Chamberlain of Westfield, Dorrie (Jack) Daley of Westfield, and Sue (Guy) Boccasile of West Suffield; her grandchildren; Fred (Amy) Chamberlain, Kevin Chamberlain, Karen (Joe) Noblit, Michael (Alison) Daley, Timothy (Kristen) Daley, Kimberly (Bill) Lamirande, Chad (Kari) Meyer, and Aaron (April) Boccasile. Dorothy also leaves her adored great grandchildren; Anne, Daniel, Sara, and Michael Chamberlain, Nick, Connor, and Jake Noblit, Patrick (Karmen) Daley, Ryan Daley, Billy, Jack, and Keira Lamirande, Nolan, Drew, Anna, Emma, and Chloe Meyer, Max, Isabella and Ava Boccasile, and 2 great-great grandchildren Ava and Reese Daley. Dorothy’s visitation will be Saturday January 17, 2014 from 10:30 am to 12 noon with services at 12 noon at the Robert E Cusack Funeral Home, 94 Main St (Rt 20). Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, all in Westfield. The family would like to thank the 3rd floor staff at Mont Marie Health Care for the compassionate care Dorothy received during her stay.
