HUNTINGTON – Edward A. Kelso, 78, a retired supervisor for 30 years for Mestek, Inc. in Westfield, died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at home. Born in Westfield, MA on June 6, 1934, he was the son of the late Charles E. Kelso and Margaret L (Allen) Kelso. He lived in Huntington for the past 43 years. He graduated from Westfield High School.
Edward was predeceased by his wife Phyllis (Olds) E. Kelso, who passed away May 11, 2009. He leaves two sons, Bruce A. Kelso of Huntington and Mark F. Kelso of Winchester, NH; four daughters, Gail M. Mulville of Russell, MA, Marcia J. Leggett Kinderhook, NY, Shelley A. Hinds of Revere, MA and Sylvia J. Boyden of Russell, MA; thirteen grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons, Gerald L. Kelso and Douglas E. Kelso and a grandson, Eric M. Champiney.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the O’Brien Hilltown Community Funeral Home, 27 Russell Road, Huntington, MA. Burial will be in the spring in Norwich Bridge Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday, January 3rd from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m.
