Gertrude Chamberlain

WESTFIELD: Feb. 19, 2015, Gertrude Chamberlain (Parolini) slipped peacefully from this world into the arms
of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born in Westfield, MA. July 7, 1923, to Claudio & H. Alma
Parolini, she was an active, longtime member of the Westfield Advent Christian Church. Trudy
lived a long and courageous life having survived a stroke in 1985 that left her paralyzed on
her left side. This did not stop her from enjoying life and enriching the lives of others. She was
an elegant lady who loved entertaining and making others feel welcome. Through her strong
faith in the Lord she had a ministry of encouragement to all whose lives touched her. Left to
cherish her memory is her son Daniel Parolini and wife, Jeannie, brother Roger Parolini and
wife Marilyn son-in-law Arnold Caison, 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and numerous
nieces and nephews. Trudy was predeceased by her husband Dwight Chamberlain, her sister
Alma Smith, brothers Lawrence and George Fischer and most recently by her daughter and
best friend Trudy-Jean Caison.
The family is forever grateful to Trudy’s caregivers; June Arkoette, Debbie Waterman, Yelana
Rudenko and Kyle Kohlrusch, who made it possible for her to stay in her own home until just
very recently. Thank you for your loving attention to her care.
A memorial service will be held at the Westfield Advent Christian Church on April 25, 2015 at 11
am. Donations may be made to The Advent Christian Church. Czelusniak Funeral home of Northampton is in charge.
