Jean H. Blair

Westfield – Jean H. (Grimaldi) Blair, 75, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Noble Hospital. She was born in Westfield on December 29, 1941 to the late Frank and Louise (Graziano) Grimaldi. Jean was an active member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Westfield and a member of its Rosary Sodality. She was the co-owner and hairdresser at the former Hair Affair in Westfield, was a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programmer (NLP) and Hypnotherapist and retired from Blessed Sacrament Church as the secretary after 28 years. After Jean retired, she found a passion for painting. Her greatest love was her family and being a very active Noni and going to her grandchildren’s sporting events and concerts. Jean is survived by her loving children, Wayne Blair and his wife Vanessa of Westfield, David Blair and his wife Jackie of Florence, MA, Anthony (Toby) Blair with Suzette Chapman of Phoenix, AZ, Lisa Tinney and her wife Linda of West Springfield, Keith Blair and his wife Judy of Peoria, AZ and Suzanne Harlow and her husband Lincoln of Westfield, her brother Frank Grimaldi, Jr. and his wife Deb of Perryville, KY and eleven cherished grandchildren.

Jean’s funeral will be held on Friday at 9AM from the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 127 Holyoke Rd. Westfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Southampton Rd. Westfield. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7 PM in the funeral home.
