Joshua J. Palazzi

Granville – Joshua James Palazzi, 26, died unexpectedly, on October 22, 2016. He was born in Springfield on March 9, 1990. He grew up in Granville attended local schools and was a 2008 graduate of Southwick-Tolland High School. After High School he pursued his dream of becoming a pilot, which was his passion. Growing up, Joshua excelled at everything he pursued including motorcycle racing, schooling and Taekwondo. Due to his love of flying he became a pilot at a very young age. The last flight he took he shared the sky’s with the Blue Angels in sight. When not flying, his love for nature was endless. He loved spending his summers on Otis Reservoir. He leaves his father Brian Palazzi and his wife Monique of East Otis, his mother Heather Palazzi of Granville, his brother and best friend Anthony Palazzi of Granville, his step-brothers Richard Huntington and his wife Stephanie of Hamden, CT and Blake Huntington of Waterbury, CT. He also leaves his paternal grandparents James and Frances Palazzi of Fort Meyers, FL and his maternal grandparents Cynthia and William Fullerton of Westfield, and many aunts uncles and cousins. Joshua also leaves a dear friend Shaun Conroy and his companion Maxine his dog who never left his side. The funeral for Joshua will be held at 7 p.m. at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield on Wednesday October 26th. The burial will be private. Calling hours will be held Wednesday evening before the service from 3-7 p.m. Donations in memory of Joshua may be made to the Westfield Animal Shelter, 178 Apremont Way, Westfield, MA 01085.
