Lillian M. Cooper

WESTFIELD: Lillian M. (Trudell) Cooper, (1927 – 2015) 88, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015 in a local nursing home. Born in Springfield on January 8, 1927, she was the daughter of the late John and Elsie (Decormier) Trudell. She attended Springfield schools, lived in Southwick for fifteen years before residing in Westfield. Lillian was a caregiver to all and will be remembered as a great mother, and for her loving personality and generosity. Her home was always open for conversation and a cup of coffee. She enjoyed playing cards and puzzles. She was predeceased by her two husbands, Alban D. Miller who died in 1968 and John Cooper. She is survived by her loving sons, Ronald and his wife Sue and Alban Miller, Jr. all of Westfield; three daughters Linda, Joan and Lillian; her brother Donald Trudell; three sisters, Barbara, Arlene and Teresa; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Lillian was predeceased by her son Robert, her daughter Catherine Anne Miller, and her siblings Billy, Johnny, Anita and Ticky. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 4-7pm at Southwick Forastiere Funeral & Cremation on 624 College Highway in Southwick. Burial will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 10am in Springfield St. Cemetery in Feeding Hills. Donations may be made in Lillian’s memory to Shriners Hospital for Children on 516 Carew St, Springfield MA 01104.
