Margaret E. “Peg” Barbour

WESTFIELD—Margaret E. “Peg” (Turner) Barbour, a resident of this city for over 20 years, passed away December 10, 2014 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Holden, MA, Peg was a graduate of Palmer High School, and attended Holyoke Community College.Peg worked as a receptionist at Reeds Landing in Springfield since 1996, and previously worked for Digital Equipment Corp. of Westfield. She is survived by five nieces and nephews, Marj Darling of Easthampton, Barbara Greany of Palmer, William Darling of Monson, Richard Darling of Vermont, & Robert Darling of Florida, and by many great nieces & nephews. Peg’s nephew, Eric Hermanson, and her siblings, Joyce Hermanson, Shirley Watson and Harry Turner predeceased her. Burial services in Brimfield Cemetery will be held in the spring. There are no calling hours. Southwick-Forastiere Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Thomas J.
