MaryEllen Dauphinais

Blandford – MaryEllen (Petrovsky) Dauphinais, 71, (1945-2017)  CNA for 18 years for the Governor’s Center in Westfield, died Thursday, June 15, 2017 at home with her loving family by her side.  Born in Springfield, MA on July 25, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Jacob J. Petrovsky, Jr. and Marjorie (McCagg) Petrovsky.  She was part of the first class to graduate from Gateway High School.  She lived in Westfield for over 35 years, and has spent the last 9 years traveling the country with her husband in their RV.  She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband Ernest E. Dauphinais; two sons, Scott M. Dauphinais and his wife Beth Berube of Chesterfield, and Ernest J. Dauphinais of Chicopee; two daughters, Clarissa A. Hart and her husband Stephen of Blandford, and Kimberly S. Dauphinais-Kellogg, predeceased by her husband  Keith C. Kellogg of Russell; two brothers, Jacob J. Petrovsky III, of Manchester, VT and A. Michael Petrosky and his wife Debbie of Chester; four sisters, Elizabeth Martinat of Springfield, Catherine Petrovsky Shannon of McClean, VA, Dawn Petrovsky of Dummerston, VT and Debra Guerriere of Allstead, NH; two granddaughters, Sarah L. Anable and Kaitlyn P. Dauphinais; three great grandchildren, Jonathan M. Thompson, Caleb A. Anable-Thompson and Landon M. Chaffee and their Dad Jonathan A. Thompson.  She will also be missed by the many friends she has made over the last 9 years traveling with her beloved husband in their RV.  The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Baystate Hospice, especially her nurses Sharon & Marie for their care and compassion towards MaryEllen.  Dr. Iyer of Mercy Hospital and Baystate Noble, Her Arizona doctors and Dr. Khanuja of Ironwood Cancer Center.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Cancer House of Hope, Baystate Hospice or Ironwood Cancer Center.
