A new flag pole and flag honoring veterans who served their country was recently donated by American Legion Whip City Memorial Post 454 at the Lt. William Hasset Kane & Frank Peter Wojtkiewicz Park, located on the corner of Elm and Meadow Street. This flagpole will be a reminder that freedom is not free. Legion 454 Post Historian and Westfield Pearl Harbor survivor, Robert A. Greenleaf, raises the colors for the first time on this new flag pole. The new flag was donated by Commander Benjamin F.
