WESTFIELD – With the roads forecasted to look a bit more like a luge track than a place you’d like to drive, the Olympic Spirit Night and girls high school hockey game at The Amelia Park Ice Arena originally scheduled for tonight, Wednesday Feb. 7, has been postponed until tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 8th at 6:30 p.m.
The evening is still expected to be quite the celebration of women’s hockey with a much anticipated game taking place between the Longmeadow Lancers (WHS co-op) and the Auburn Rockets.
A video is also being made to send to Olympian and Westfield native, Kacey Bellamy, to support her and the US Women’s Ice Hockey Team on their mission to take home the gold.
Admission to the event is free.
