WESTFIELD – Plymouth State rallied from deficits of 2-0 and 3-2 to top Westfield State by a 6-3 final in a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference game at Amelia Park Ice Arena on Saturday evening.
Plymouth’s Chris Zuccaro (Hudson, N.H.) tallied back to back goals in the third period, tying the game at 3-3 with 6:04 left in the game when he redirected Ian McGlivrey’s (Omaha, Neb.) shot from the top of the right penalty circle. He added what proved to be the game winner 1:59 later with the Panthers shorthanded, flipping a shot from the blueline towards the net for a 4-3 Panthers lead.
Plymouth added a pair of empty netters late from McGilvray and Ludvig Steenberg (Stockholm, Sweden).

Girard (St. Lazare, Quebec). Westfield extended the lead to 2-0 less than three minutes into the second period, with Girard tallying with assists from Lenny Caglianone (Matawan, N.J.) and Leef.
