Major crime and incident report

9:10 a.m.: Accident, Elm Street. Police received a report for a three-car accident near the clock tower, involving a 2015 Toyota Corolla, a 2013 Honda Accord and a 2007 Mazda 3. The accident occurred when one vehicle struck another from behind, which then caused it to strike another vehicle from behind. No injuries were reported but one vehicle was towed.

11:12 a.m.: Larceny, walk-in. Police received a report of medication that was reported stolen from a resident’s home on Elm Street. According to police, this is the second time the person has been a victim. The medication is delivered to the home. Police have no suspects.

2:19 p.m.: Accident, East Main Street. Police received a report of a one-car collision involving a 2012 Buick Enclave and a light pole in a parking lot. Police were told that the driver struck the pole with her vehicle. Police requested an ambulance for the driver, who had non-life-threatening injuies reportedly related to striking the steering wheel. Westfield Fire paramedics transported the person to Baystate Noble Hospital for further treatment.

7:04 p.m.: Accident, Russell Road. Police received a report of a two-car accident involving a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2008 Honda Accord. Police reported that there were initially no reports of injuries, but an elderly woman on scene eventually complained of neck pain and was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital by Westfield Fire paramedics.

8:46 p.m.: Accident, Southampton Road. Police received a report of another two-car accident involving a 2009 Hyundai Accent and a 2016 Dodge Dart. Police requested ambulances for two people injured, in addition to two tow trucks for both vehicles. Both parties were transported by Westfield Fire paramedics to Baystate Noble Hospital.
