12:23 a.m.: Motor vehicle violation and arrest, Cross Street. Police reported that they stopped a vehicle after they saw the operator allegedly texting while driving. Upon speaking with the operator, Brittany Callahan, 23, of Westfield, they reported that there was allegedly a smell of alcohol and a container of wine in the vehicle. Police reported that Callahan refused to perform a field sobriety test. Police arrested Callahan and charged her with operating under the influence of liquor, texting while operating a vehicle, possession of open container of alcohol in motor vehicle and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

3:24 a.m.: Breaking and entering, Springfield Road. Police received a report of two unknown males who reportedly made entry into a medical office on Springfield Road. The report came from someone who reportedly spoke to another person that was in the office at the time of the entry. The person at the scene at the time did not initially contact police. Police are investigating and no property was reported missing.

12:52 p.m.: Accident, hit-and-run, Noble Street. Police received a report of a person who had reportedly been struck by a vehicle while walking. The vehicle then reportedly left the scene. The pedestrian reportedly struck was transported via Westfield Fire ambulance to Baystate Noble for treatment of injuries. Police are investigating.

3:51 p.m.: Breaking and entering, Springfield Road. Police received a report from someone who reported that their medical office was allegedly broken into. This office was in the same location as the reported break-in earlier in the morning. Petty cash was reported stolen and police are investigating.

8:38 p.m. Disturbance and arrest, East Mountain Road. Police received a report of a fight that occurred while at a wedding. According to the report, an allegedly intoxicated male was getting attacked by people at the wedding. Police reported that Joshua P. Schauer, 25, of South Hadley, had allegedly attacked people at the wedding. Police arrested Schauer and charged him with disorderly conduct and three counts of assault and battery.

11:47 p.m.: Accident and arrest, West Silver Street. Police received a report of a three-car crash involving a 2002 Toyota Corolla, a 1998 Volkswagen Passat and a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta with no injuries. Police reported that the third vehicle in the collision was allegedly obviously impaired upon their arrival. Police arrested Tyler J. Meade, 24, of Westfield, and charged him with operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
