7:46 a.m.: breaking and entering, Bates Road, a caller reports three vehicles were entered and property was stolen, the responding officer reports the caller said that three unlocked vehicles in the driveway were entered and a wallet was stolen;
8:29 a.m.: breaking and entering, Belden Drive, a resident came to the station to report his pickup truck was entered and his wallet was stolen, the responding officer reports the caller said that his truck had been unlocked when his wallet was stolen;
9:28 a.m.: breaking and entering, Bates Road, a caller reports a vehicle was entered and property was stolen, the responding officer reports the caller said that the vehicle had been unlocked when it was entered and loose coin was stolen;
9:57 a.m.: larceny, Maple Terrace, a caller reports a family member stole her credit card and used it, the case remains under investigation;
10:38 a.m.: found property, Union Street, a resident came to the station to surrender a wallet found in the Union Street roadway, the responding officer reports the owner could not be immediately contacted and the wallet was stored for safekeeping;
2:48 p.m.: fire, Neck Road, multiple callers report a fire behind the salt piles on Union Street, the responding fire captain reports about a quarter acre of grass between the salt piles and the railroad tracks was burning, CSX Railroad was advised to suspend train traffic, the fire was extinguished but the ignition source could not be determined;
4:21 p.m.: animal complaint, Westfield Animal Shelter, 178 Apremont Way, a resident came to the station to surrender a seven-year-old spayed female Norwegian elk hound;
10:37 p.m.: vandalism, Powder Mill Village, 126 Union St., multiple callers report youths in the parking lot are damaging parked vehicles, the responding officer reports five vehicle were found to have damaged mirrors and two had smashed windshields, blood was found on some of the vehicles and was also found on a storm door where there was no response at the door, the officer reports the investigation is ongoing.
