8:41 a.m.: Accident, hit-and-run, West Silver Street and Pleasant Street. Police received a report of a possible hit-and-run accident involving a 2013 Hyundai Genesis and a 2001 Subaru Legacy. According to the police log, the vehicle suspected of leaving the scene had an address in Huntington, and state police were requested to go to the address. No further information provided.

10:59 a.m.: Suspicious (other), Loomis Avenue. Police received a report of a male who was allegedly attempting to break into a residence according to a caller, after a male had reportedly attempted to open two doors to a residence that was occupied. The occupant called police. The male left in a truck with a trailer on it and police were provided with a description. When police stopped the vehicle, police found that the male reported that he was supposed to be at the residence and was attempting to pick up air conditioners. No arrests were made and no charges filed.

2:32 p.m.: Accident, Franklin Street and Washington Street. Police received a report of three-vehicle accident involving a 2003 Honda CRV, a 2015 Nissan NV and a 2007 Honda Pilot. One person was reported injured and transported to Baystate Noble Hospital via Westfield Fire ambulance and personnel and one vehicle was reportedly towed.

5:12 p.m.: Assist motorist/citizen and arrest, walk-in. Police reported that Chase J. Ladue, 25, of Westhampton, had come to the police station to pick up a tow slip. Upon inputting information into the police’s computer, it was found Ladue reportedly had two warrants for his arrest. Ladue was arrested on the warrants.

11:46 p.m.: Larceny, Walmart Springfield Road. Police received a report of an allegedly stolen guitar and Playstation 4 from a vehicle. The vehicle occupant reported the items missing after getting home from Walmart and reported that they reportedly forgot to lock the vehicle while at Walmart. The guitar was valued at $800.
