Major crime and incident report

10:49 a.m.:
accident, Price-Rite, 303 E. Main St., caller reported being involved in a minor accident in the parking lot, no injuries, no tow;
2:36 p.m.: accident, 139 Springdale Road at 198 Holyoke Road, a 2009 Ford, driven by Molly Wolohan, reported not seeing the flashing stop sign and struck a Honda Odyssey driven by Dante White with four passengers; three passengers transported to Baystate Noble Hospital, a 22-year-old female and two children 9 and 12 years old; both vehicles towed from scene;
4:33 p.m.: accident, Railroad Viaduct, Union Street, a tractor-trailer struck the railroad viaduct, driver transported to Baystate Noble Hospital, CSX and Amtrak were contacted to stop train traffic, CSX to inspect the bridge, a heavy tow removed the truck from the scene;
5:03 p.m.: accident, Expert Fitness Health Club, 99 Springfield Road, two-vehicle crash, one driver complained of back and head pain but refused treatment, neither vehicle towed;
5:52 p.m.: burglary/breaking and entering, Mosley School, 25 Dartmouth St., Brian R. Gosselin, 20, 44 Hillside Ave., arrested for charges of defacement/vandalizing property after a caller reported seeing Gosselin using a baseball bat on one of the doors;
6:14 p.m.: violation of city ordinance, 9 Chapel St. at 115 Elm St., Jacquet L. Wilson, 47, of 128 Elm St., Apt. 1, was arrested for charges of open container consumption of alcohol in public when police saw that he had a 24-ounce beer in a paper bag;
7:13 p.m.: accident, 38 Russell Road at 1 Ridgeway St., caller reported his wife was in an accident, no injuries;
8:00 p.m.: traffic/motor vehicle complaint, Main Street, officer found eight teenagers riding their bikes all over the roadway, they would not stop when advised and proceeded to verbally abuse the officer and shout expletives at the officer;
8:03 p.m.: accident, one vehicle crash, vicinity of Pease residence, 739 Pochassic Road, 2007 Honda Accord with five occupants struck a pole, minor injuries, vehicle towed, operator issued a citation for speeding greater than reasonable speed and for not wearing seatbelts.
