2:53 a.m.:
larceny of bicycles, Bell Italia Pizzeria, 73 Elm St., investigated;
3:20 a.m.: accident, 244 Union St. at 430 Paper Mill Road, 2000 Honda Civic with two occupants crashed into a pole, two transported to area hospitals;
4:03 a.m.: accident, hit and run, Elm Electrical Inc., 68 Union St., 2015 Chevy Camaro, ran over and dragged a street sign, sign split gas tank, police followed gas trail, Jayson Andrew Tavernier, 32, of 28 Olive St., Springfield, arrested on charges of trespass, leaving the scene of property damage, marked lanes violation and speeding, see Westfield News for full story;
10:00 a.m.: vandalism motor vehicle, 28 Union St., resident reported someone had smashed out window of her car overnight;
12:44 p.m.: medical emergency, Clemenza’s Brick Oven, 91 Elm St., victim unconscious but breathing, transported to Baystate Noble Hospital;
6:42 p.m.: shoplifting, Walmart, 141 Springfield Road, Eric E. Guerrin, 28, of 620 North St., Dalton, arrested on charges of shoplifting by asportation over $100, trespass and possession of marijuana;
7:27 p.m.: accident, hit and run, 5 W. School St. at 10 Hampden St., caller reported that a parked vehicle was struck by a full-sized white pickup truck, police located truck and driver at Taco Bell, driver cited, information exchanged between the owners of the two motor vehicles;
7:39 p.m.: assist other agency, Baystate Noble Hospital, ER nurse called asking for police to secure a rape kit;
10:44 p.m.: college-related disturbance, College House, 75 Mechanic St., police investigated a party;
11:43 p.m.: college-related disturbance, 21 Cherry St., police investigated a party;
11:52 p.m.: suspicious, Church Street, caller reported seeing someone take a chair from back porch and attempt to smash the back door open, police couldn’t locate suspect.
