12:10 a.m.: domestic disturbance, Colonial Pine Acres, 50 Southampton Road, a caller reports her child’s father came to her residence and assaulted her, the responding officer reports the caller said that the suspect had left, the woman said that a verbal argument became physical when the man pulled on her hair tearing some from her head and pinched her leaving a bruise on her hip, the woman was advised of her protective order options and a criminal complaint for assault and battery in a domestic relationship was filed;
9:26 a.m.: past larceny, Apple Blossom Lane, a resident came to the station with additional information regarding a larceny report filed in 2011, the responding officer reports the incident report was amended to include the new information;
12:29 p.m.: larceny, Summit Lock Road, a Holyoke resident came to the station to report a theft from his workplace, the responding officer reports the man said that between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. his unsecured locker at his workplace was entered and his wallet was stolen, the man said the wallet contained $40 and personal documents;
2:30 p.m.: suspicious persons, East Main Street, two callers report that a male party smashed the window of a parked vehicle, the responding officer reports he learned that the keys for a leased vehicle were lost and a leaseholder broke a window of the vehicle to gain access;
2:39 p.m.: fraud, S. Maple Street, a resident came to the station to report she is the victim of fraud, the responding officer reports the woman said she applied for a job online and was sent a check far in excess of her first week’s pay, the woman was asked to cash the check and forward the balance to a purported contractor, the woman said that she followed the instructions and the original check was later found to be fraudulent;
2:44 p.m.: breaking and entering, St. James Avenue, a caller reports her residence was broken into and property was stolen, the responding officer reports the victim said that on Thursday she was away for much of the afternoon and evening and returned to find her sliding glass door had been pried open, the woman said her home was ransacked and her silverware and jewelry were stolen, a neighbor reports seeing a person in the area;
3:04 p.m.: breaking and entering, Bayberry Lane, a caller reports returning home to find her residence had been broken into, the responding officer reports the caller said that an attempt was made to pry open her kitchen door and when that failed a perpetrator kicked in the door, the bedroom and bathroom were disturbed and a jewelry box and jewelry were stolen;
5:03 p.m.: traffic complaint, Shaker Road, a supervisory officer reports vehicles parked for a party are creating a potential hazard, the officer reports the resident addressed the matter with his guests;
11:34 p.m.: liquor law violation, Mechanic Street, a community policing officer reports a liquor law violation, a city ordinance violation citation was issued.
