12:59 a.m.: Suspicious person and arrest, Walmart, Springfield Road. Police received a report of a suspected shoplifter at Walmart. Upon police inspection police found that approximately $90 worth of items were allegedly stolen. Police arrested Moises Santana, 26, of Holyoke, and charged him with shoplifting by asportation.
12:39 p.m.: Accident, South Maple Street. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2015 Volvo and a 1997 Honda Accord. Police reported that no injuries occurred and both vehicles were able to leave the scene without incident.
1:03 p.m.: Breaking and entering, Union Street. Police received a report of a possible breaking and entering at an apartment on Union Street. According to the resident, they came home and noticed a $60 toy that was missing from their child’s room. There was damage reported to the window and footprints leading outside the window but no suspects. Police are investigating.
