12:33 a.m.: Vandalism, Wal-Mart, 141 Springfield Road. Police received a report of four male youths who were vandalizing merchandise, reportedly taking items off shelves and smashing them onto the ground. The suspects left the store and sat near a bus stop, while one fled in a car. The police arrived and the suspects scattered, but police were able to make four arrests. Afsheen Bahrehmand, 24, of Westfield, Denis Zinchenko, 22, of Southwick and Tyler Barna-Plouff, 20, of Springfield, were all charged with vandalizing property, while Frank Blahut, 21, of Westfield, was charged with trespassing and vandalizing property.

12:22 p.m.: Motor vehicle accident, Western Avenue. While police were on scene at a residence investigating an accident, one of the vehicles involved was being put in park by its operator and rolled into the police car. Police had to fill out a secondary accident report.

9:52 p.m.: Assault, Elm Street. Police received a report from an alleged victim who said that four shirtless males were in the area of Baystate Noble Hospital and may have been involved in an assault. At the hospital were two males, one with an ankle injury and one with an eye injury after being shot in the face with a BB gun. Police questioned several people and canvassed the area, eventually arresting a minor and charged them with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.
