1:03 a.m.: Burglary, Myrtle Ave. Victim called police and reported that they returned home and found that their house was “broken into sometime in the past three hours.” Police reported electronics being stolen, but there was no obvious forcible entry. Investigation is ongoing.

1:17 a.m.: Accident, hit and run, Washington St. Operator of a 2000 Toyota Camry was seen by a witness hitting a parked car when coming out of a parking spot. The force from that impact was such that it pushed the parked car into another. The driver then fled the scene, according to police and witness. Police were able to contact the driver in Conn. and driver returned later in day for interview and report.

12:01 p.m.: Shoplifting, 57 Main St., Stop and Shop. Police received reports of a woman who stole soda from the store. The security officer who works at Stop and Shop followed the vehicle that was involved with the theft and reported the location and possible culprit to police. Police found the vehicle and arrested Alicia Hansen, 33, of 117 Miller St., on two warrants.

6:47 p.m.: Motorcycle accident, Great River Bridge. According to police, a caller was attempting to get attention of motorcycle operator about the motorcycle leaking oil. Police said the caller noted that the oil was leaking and covered the rear tire. The motorcyclist proceeded to “roll” according to police report, and its operator “fell off.” One was transported to Baystate Noble.
