Major crime and incident log

1:24 a.m.: Accident and arrest, Main Street and Meadow Street. Police reported a one-vehicle crash that occurred, which they requested an ambulance to assess the driver. Police reported that the ambulance left with a patient refusal, and afterward arrested the alleged driver, Albee Green, 33, of Westfield, and charged him with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, marked lanes violation and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. No further information was provided. 

7:31 a.m.: Accident, Main Street and Elm Street. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer and a 2015 Ford F150. No injuries were reported and no tow trucks were requested. 

9:35 a.m.: Vandalism motor vehicle, Union Avenue. Police received a report of four tires that were slashed on a trailer, as well as on another vehicle, that were parked beside each other. No further information was provided. 

2:18 p.m.: Accident, Alice Burke Way. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 1999 Honda Accord and a 2015 Dodge Dart. No injuries were reported and no tow trucks were requested. 

9:01 p.m.: Accident, Elm Street. Police received a report of initially one person that was struck by a vehicle on Elm Street. Police later reported two people were struck. Both victims were transported to a local hospital by Westfield Fire ambulance and personnel. Police reported that the vehicle had left the scene and that they are currently looking for a grey Chrysler that may have front-end damage to it. 

9:46 p.m.: Accident, Southampton Road. Police received a report of a vehicle that struck a pole in a parking lot. Police arrived and reported that they arrested the alleged driver, Maura Lessard, 52, of Wilbraham, and charged her with operating under the influence of alcohol and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
