3:59 a.m.: annoying phone calls, Powder Mill Village, 126 Union St., a caller reports she has been receiving numerous annoying text messages for a former boyfriend, the responding officer reports that while he was advising the caller of her options the suspect called her, the officer reports he spoke with the man and advised him of the possible consequences of continued annoying contacts;
11:37 a.m.: breaking and entering, White Street, a caller reports that a vacant house was broken into between Wednesday and Thursday and the copper piping was stolen, the responding officer reports an abandoned cat is living in the house and the animal control department was notified, the director of animal control operations responded but was unable to locate the cat and said she would return with a trap;
6:11 p.m.: illegal leaf disposal, Pochassic Road, a caller reports a person on his property is dumping leaves, the responding officer reports he stopped the described vehicle as he approached the site of the call and the operators aid that he was collecting pine branches and was not dumping leaves, the officer reports the vehicle was filled with leaves;
9:08 p.m.: lost property, Elm Street, a Newton resident reports via the online reporting option that property was lost, the reporting party reports that he inadvertently left a folder containing personal items on top of his vehicle when he drove away from an Elm Street address.
