Midnight: Ampad Road, a caller reports about 20 people who appear to be younger than the legal drinking age are drinking at a party behind an industrial building, the responding officer requests a Fire Department response to deal with a large bonfire, the officer reports about ten teenagers emerged from the woods and two were found to have consumed alcoholic beverages, the two children were surrendered to the custody of parents;
12:41 a.m.: vandalism, Orange Street, a caller reports a friend’s car was vandalized by a man he is currently following, a second caller said that a bleeding man she does not know is banging on her windows seeking entry, the responding officer reports a man was transported to Noble Hospital for treatment of a lacerated finger which will not stop bleeding, the man was placed in protective custody;
11:24 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the vehicle’s registration was found to be expired and it was towed to the police impound yard;
1:57 p.m.: larceny, Cedar Lane, a caller reports the boy who cleared her leaves also stole her leaf blower, the responding officer reports incident remains under investigation;
2:07 p.m.: vandalism, East Main Street, a caller reports his car was keyed in the parking lot of an East Main Street supermarket, the responding officer reports that he is not certain where the car was vandalized;
4:42 p.m.: assist other agency, Noble Hospital, Court Street, a caller from the hospital’s emergency department reports a discharged patient is refusing, to leave, the responding officer reports that the man was found to be the subject of an outstanding warrant, Fred James Gilpatrick, 31, of 83 Stebbins St., Chicopee, was arrested on a warrant issued in 2012 by Holyoke District Court.
