Major crime and incident report
Tuesday, November 17, 2015
6:34 a.m.:
vandalism motor vehicle, 88 Union St., caller reported that her rear windshield was smashed on her vehicle and her purse was stolen;
6:58 a.m.: vandalism motor vehicle, Eastwood Drive, caller reported that his wife’s car was broken into sometime overnight, passenger side window is “blown out” and it seems some change was taken;
8:40 a.m.: larceny, Danek Drive, woman reported that her new registry ID and a bank card were stolen from her mailbox and at least one fraudulent charge was made;
2:09 p.m.: larceny, Game Stop, 423 E. Main St., woman reported her wallet was stolen and charges were made on a bank card;
2:33 p.m.: fraud, David Cordes, DMD MDS PC, 82 Broad St., employee reported that a customer passed a fraudulent check at the office for the amount of $400;
6:10 p.m.: larceny, Walgreens, 78 Main St., woman reported she had her wallet on the counter when another woman went through the line and took it, that woman called and said she would bring it to Chicopee Police Department, but she has not returned wallet;
10:46 p.m.: accident, 1024 Western Ave., 2002 Ford Taurus struck a pole, no injures, no tows, Westfield Gas & Electric notified of damaged pole.
