8:30 a.m.: Accident, Mill Street and West Silver Street. Multiple reports received by callers, as well as a person involved, that an accident occurred at the intersection involving a 2016 Subaru SW and a 2007 Nissan Murano. Police reported that there was no airbag deployment but two people were complaining of injuries, both from the same vehicle. Westfield Fire paramedics responded and the two complaining of injuries were transported to Baystate Noble Hospital for treatment by ambulance.

2:38 p.m.: Fraud, School Street. Police received a report of fraud involving an item online. The person had an item up for sale online and found an alleged interested buyer. The buyer sent a check to the person who posted the item online, but the check was made in excess of the item’s worth. The police reported that the buyer requested that the check be cashed but a separate check be sent back with the excess amount. The check was sent but the original check sent from the buyer bounced, leaving the seller with a $710 loss. Police had no arrests at the time of the report.

3:53 p.m.: Larceny, Main Line Drive. Police received a report of a condensing unit that was stolen from a business on Main Line Drive. Police reported that there were no arrests, but there was surveillance footage of the area.
