6:17 a.m.: Vandalism, South Street. Police received a report that a person’s vehicle was vandalized, which included tires being slashed and reportedly something in the gas tank. Police reported no suspects.

8:17 a.m.: Breaking and entering motor vehicle, William Street. Police received a report of a vehicle that was reportedly entered and identification reported missing from the vehicle. Police reported the vehicle was not locked.

10:52 a.m.: Accident, Elm Street. Police received a report of a two-vehicle accident. A 2017 Kia Sportage and a 2017 Hyundai Elantra were involved. No injuries reported and no tow trucks requested.

11:31 a.m.: Forgery/counterfeiting, East Main Street. Police received a report that the day prior someone had reportedly passed three counterfeit traveler’s checks at a store on East Main Street. Police reported that there was video of the report but no name at this time. Police are investigating.

2:16 p.m.: Accident, Little River Road. Police reported that a construction crew reportedly bent a pole on Little River Road. No injuries.

3:17 p.m.: Accident, Springfield Road. Police received a report of a two-vehicle accident. A 2015 Nissan Altima and a 2007 Nissan Maxima were involved. No injuries were reported and no tow trucks requested.

4:11 p.m.: Accident, Franklin Street. Police reported that they were flagged down for a two-vehicle accident involving a 2016 Nissan Rogue and a 2003 GMC Envoy. Two ambulances were requested and a tow truck. Both ambulances, which were from Westfield Fire, transported patients to Baystate Noble Hospital. A stone gas light pillar was also reportedly damaged in the accident.

10:17 p.m.: Accident, East Mountain Road. Police received a report of a two-vehicle accident. A 2005 Nissan Altima and a 2013 Chevrolet Impala were involved. One tow truck was requested but no injuries reported.
