Raymond C. Crosler

Akron, Ohio – Raymond C. Crosler  (1950-2017) passed away on Mar. 13, 2017. He was born in Westfield, MA a son of the late Clarence W. and Gladys M. (Williams) Crosler Sr.

Raymond grew up in Southwick, MA and moved to Akron 2005. Raymond enjoyed collecting Native American memorabilia, going to pow wows and taking long rides in the country. Raymond was last employed as a National Negotiator with the National People’s Action PAC where he worked with numerous politicians in establishing affordable housing for low income residents. He loved spending time with his family and friends whom he loved so much. He was a fun loving person who was kind and generous to all he met. He touched the lives of so many people and he will be greatly missed by all.

Raymond is survived by his loving soul mate and partner Ruthanne Johnson and her children and grandchildren of Akron, Ohio; sister Vivian Coates, brothers Glenn Crosler and Robert Crosler of Springfield, MA; brothers Alfred Crosler, Clarence Crosler Jr and Gary Crosler and wife Merideth of Southwick, MA and a brother Ronald and wife Quinna of Perryville, MD., many nephew, nieces, cousins and friends.

Besides his parents Raymond was predeceased by his brother Theodore Crosler, sister-in-law Linda Crosler and brother-in-law Wilbur Coates.

A memorial serves will be held at Christ Church United Methodist 222 College Highway, Southwick, MA on April 8th 2017 at 1:00pm.
