Renaissance Manor Spreads Holiday Cheer

WESTFIELD  – Renaissance Manor of Westfield, a member of the Revera Inc. family, recently opened its doors to the children of the community to host a “cookies with
Santa” event. The event took place on Saturday, December 15th and was well attended by children hoping that Santa would bring them all the items on their wish list.
Renaissance Manor of Westfield is no stranger to opening its doors to the community: In the past, the center has held food drives to support local area food banks, has offered a “pie to go” Thanksgiving promotion, has hosted 50/50 raffles to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association, and has offered up a “soup to go” program for the month of January. The “cookies with Santa” event is yet another way for the center to give back to the community and provides the opportunity for visitors to learn more about the skilled nursing care services that Renaissance Manor of Westfield can provide.
“Renaissance Manor of Westfield is a center that truly believes in giving back to and being a part of the community at large,” commented Greg Dempsey, Administrator. “We are
appreciative of the community’s support, and receive great satisfaction by being able to open our doors to the community.”
The “cookies with Santa” event featured a center decorated with its finest holiday regalia, a tree complete with presents, tantalizing desserts and of course, a visit from Santa Clause himself.
The children enjoyed interacting with Santa, and from the smiles on their faces, as well as those of the staff and community, you could tell the event was just another example of the center’s
