Saints lose at Lenox

LENOX – The Southwick-Tolland Regional High School boys’ basketball team came up a few bucks short on the road Wednesday night, losing to the Millionaires at Lenox, 65-57.
St. Mary fought back to within three points with 30 seconds left in the game, but lost the free throw battle. The Saints were forced to foul to get back into the game.
“Lenox made a couple free throws, we missed a couple free throws, and then they made a couple more,” Southwick coach Joe Molta said.
The Millionaires made an astounding 15-of-16 free throws, while St. Mary was just 9-of-17 from the foul line.
Justin Crosby finished with a game-high 29 points for St. Mary. Saints’ Matt Plasse had 13.
