Steven A. Taylor

WESTFIELD: Sflagteven A. Taylor, 79, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 in Calvin Coolidge Nursing and Rehab in Northampton. He was born in Bronx, NY to the late John and Christine (Jorbes) Taylor and was educated in New York schools. He served his country with the United States Army Reserve from 1961-1962, attaining the rank of Specialist 4th Class. Steven was employed for over 20 years for Old Colony Envelope and for 18 years as a security guard for Noble Hospital, in Westfield. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan, and enjoyed reading the newspaper with a cup of coffee. Steven was predeceased by 2 daughters, Kathleen Taylor and Colleen Fitzsimmons and is survived by his wife Joan of Westfield, two daughters, Lori Johnston of Florida and Tamara Roofner of Missouri, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
