WESTFIELD – Mike Tierney, gentleman farmer and owner of Tierney Insurance in Westfield, is known locally for his alpaca farm but this week he acquired some new animals.
On Thursday Tierney picked up some yaks as the newest members of his farm family. Tierney stated that there are very few yaks in the northeast and he was excited to have some on his farm.
