Westfield American 17, Agawam 14
Westfield American held a 12-0 lead over Agawam through three innings but Agawam was able to tack on 12 runs in the top of the fourth inning to tie up the contest. Westfield American then put up five more runs in the fifth in order to preserve a 17-14 victory.
Bobby DellaPenna went 3-for-4 with 4 RBI’s to lead the way for Westfield American. Jeremy McCormick (3-for-3, 3 RBI) and Kareem Zaghloul (2-for-3, 2 RBI) also had big games offensively for Westfield American as they now improve to 2-0 in the District 2 Tournament.
