WESTFIELD – A total of 14 Westfield High senior gymnasts were honored, and the Bombers defeated Minnechaug 135.475- 129 Tuesday night.
Taryn Hamel secured her fifth All-Around championship in six meets as Westfield improved to 9-0 for the season, 87-0 over the last several seasons.

Hamel collected 34.45 points in the All-Around. Teammate Angela Bonavita was third (33.05).
Hamel placed first on the balance beam (9.0) and uneven bars (8.375), and was third on vault (8.35) and floor exercise (8.9).
Brendan Whitman (floor, 9.225) and Kendall Neidig (vault, 8.4) also each won an event for the Bombers.
