WILBRAHAM – John Bucko recorded 19 kills and three blocks, Chris Paradis and Ian Canty combined for 24 assists and three aces, and John Oleksak (4 kills) led Westfield, which delivered a nearly flawless effort, especially in a commanding second set of a three-game sweep.
“It was a great set of volleyball,” Westfield coach Tyler Wingate said of the middle frame, which saw Minnechaug net just eight points. “It was probably one of our best of the season, and we finished it well out in Set Three.”
