WESTFIELD: Lorraine M. (Gagne) Leveille, 77 of Vadnais St. Westfield passed away unexpectedly at Noble Hospital Friday July 31, 2015. She was born in Westfield, May 30, 1938, the daughter of the late Albert P. and Yvonne L. (Gingras) Gagne. She was educated in the local schools and was a graduate of Westfield High School Class of 1956. Lorraine was employed for many years as a payroll supervisor at K and M Electronics in West Springfield. Lorraine also had been employed at the East Otis Post Office for several years. A long time member of the Southwick Congregational Church, Lorraine was an active member of many church committees and was a member of the church choir. Very active and civic minded, Lorraine was a volunteer at Noble Hospice and VNA and was very generous with her time, willing to help anyone or any animal she found in need. Lorraine was happiest when she was tending to her yard and garden. Her beloved husband Donald E. Leveille passed away in 2008. She is survived by her loving children Cheryl A. Johnson and her husband James, Michael J. Pitoniak and his wife Florence, both of Westfield, and Stephen J. Pitoniak and his wife Kristin of Montgomery, her caring brother Richard P. Gagne and his wife Patricia of Westfield, her 5 cherished grandchildren Zachary, Elizabeth, Emily, Richard, and Lucy, her adored great grandson Jayden, and her many nieces and nephews. Lorraine also leaves her former husband and father of her children, Phillip J. Pitoniak of Westfield. Her beloved son Richard J. Pitoniak predeceased her in 1985. Calling hours will be held Wednesday 4-7 PM at the Robert E. Cusack Funeral Home, 94 Main St. Westfield. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 AM at the Southwick Congregational Church, burial will be at the convenience of the family.
