Pablo A. Baez, 44, of 12 Franklin St., had charges of assault and battery on family/household member brought by Westfield police dismissed when victim asserted Fifth Amendment rights.
Sean A. Carter, 33, of 6 Paper St., had charges of assault and battery on family/household member brought by Westfield police dismissed, and had separate charges of violating abuse prevention dismissed.
Shaniqua A. Owens, 26, of 944 Worthington St., Springfield, had charges of assault and battery on family/household member and strangulation or suffocation dismissed when victim failed to appear.
Donald A. Corey, 55, of 7 Pine St., Huntington, received a one-year sentence in the House of Correction suspended with probation to January 22, 2018 after pleading guilty to charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor second offense and had charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs brought by Russell State Police dismissed and was placed placed on six-month probation after separate charges of leaving the scene of property damage were continued without finding and had charges of marked lane violation and negligent operation of motor vehicle brought by Westfield police dismissed.
Yashira M. Caban, 26, of 80 Braddock St., Springfield, was released on personal recognizance pending a February 26 hearing after being arraigned on charges of operating motor vehicle with license suspended and speeding, brought by Westfield police.
