Westfield residents Billy Cordes (2016), Pat Cordes (2018), and Liz Sacco (2017) represented Suffield Academy’s Varsity Crew team during the May 7th Providence, Rhode Island, Mayor’s Cup Regatta. The boys’ varsity team placed second out of seven teams, missing the gold by .25 seconds. Girls varsity placed third. Led by Coach T. Salamone, the crew team’s philosophy is simple – camaraderie and diligence yields a fun and inviting team experience on the water.
