Hattie A. (Taylor) Kowal, 87, (1930-2017) passed away peacefully on November 20, 2017 at Governor’s Center. She was born in Charlemont, MA to the Archie and Doris May (Sherman) Taylor and was a 1948 graduate of Charlemont High School. Hattie enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She has been a resident of Westfield since 1957 and was the devoted wife of 49 years to the late John F. Kowal, Jr. Hattie is survived by her loving children, Kenneth A. Kowal of West Springfield and Carolyn F. Daniels and her husband Dan of Farmington, CT, two cherished granddaughters, Alyssa and Lindsay Daniels, her siblings, Frank, Fred, Bernice and Libby.
