South Hadley 
– Jeannette C. Smith, 90 passed away at home on July 8th surrounded by her family. Born in West Springfield, she was the daughter of Wilfred and Ernestine (Cote) Moras. She attended St. Joseph School, West Springfield High School Class of 1948. She worked for Rex Chain Belt Co. for 7 years in the payroll dept. For the next 20 years she remained at home to raise her 3 children. She also enjoyed gardening, crocheting and embroidering. In her later years she worked for 4city Phone Book as a production manager, Mitteneague Children’s Center as a secretary and a bookkeeper, Manpower, Dr. Ferroni as a billing clerk, and Dr. DeNardo as an office manager. She retired in 1990. She was predeceased by her husband William of 70 years. She is survived by her two daughters, Lynn Schwartz of Holyoke, Lisa Towle and her husband Michael of Westfield, and her 5 grandchildren; Erika Schwartz of South Weymouth, Jessica Schwartz of Quincy and Ryan, Jaelyn & Jordan Towle of Westfield. She was predeceased by her son William in 1990. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. www.firtionadams.com
