Priscilla Krawczyk

WESTFIELD – Priscilla Belden Krawczyk passed away on May 15th, 2025, at the age of 95. She was kind and giving and was loved by all who knew her. She was born in Westfield in 1930 to Lelia and Harry Belden and was their only child.

She is survived by her two sons, Paul and Peter Krawczyk and daughter, Joanne Krawczyk, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson Alex Keefe. She took great joy in her family and lived for family holidays and celebrations.

A lifelong resident of Westfield, she had many local friends and loved the town. Priscilla graduated from Westfield High School followed by a year of nursing school and went on to graduate from Springfield Business School. She married Joseph Krawczyk from Easthampton in 1949. Together they started a general contracting business, and she worked as the administrator until 1970 when he retired. In 1973 she went to work for Doctor Donald Fahy as a certified medical assistant until his practice closed. She then went on to work as the Executive Assistant of the nursing department at Noble Hospital. She spent winters in Naples, Florida after retirement where she made many new friends and enjoyed her pool time. In retirement she continued to do volunteer work at Noble Hospital and the Red Cross Blood Bank and was a member of the Westfield Woman’s Club. She was a promoter of women’s rights and education and a generous donor to the Westfield Boys and Girls Club. She spent her final years living with her daughter and finally in a memory unit at the Skybrooke Assisted Living facility in Simsbury, CT. She will be greatly missed by her family and never forgotten.

The funeral and burial will be private.
