8:56 a.m.:
vandalism, Westfield High School, 177 Montgomery Road, school resource officer reports follow up investigation of an incident which occurred Friday when door locks were glued preventing normal function of door, officer reviewed security camera records and identified three 18-year-old males inserting glue into doors, students will be required to pay restitution for repair of locks, $636, each participant in the senior prank is responsible for a $212 payment, charges are pending if restitution is not made;
10:01 a.m.: school investigation, Westfield Vocational Technical High School, lower campus parking lot, K-9 teams swept the parking lot, checking vehicles for drugs, nothing found;
11:22 p.m.: breaking and entering, larceny, Franklin Street, resident reports returning to home and finding that the lock securing his garage had been cut and that a Kawasaki off-road motorcycle was taken, a neighbor had reported suspicious activity at 11:19 a.m. Tuesday, the neighbor reports seeing an empty pick-up truck with two occupants enter the reporting party’s property and going behind the house, then leaving a short time later with a motorcycle in the rear cargo area, neighbor provided a description of the truck and the two occupants, under investigation by the detective bureau;
2:41 p.m.: larceny, ECI Electronic Coils, 53 Main St., business owner reports several recent thefts of employee property, items taken from lockers and from a pocketbook, officer reports speaking with the victims and with company staff advising them of means to increase security in the building and area where the majority of items were taken, information taken;
4:24 p.m.: officer wanted, Main Street, caller reports subject created disturbance in a School Street business, subject located and issued a trespass order;
5:34 p.m.: arrest, Pop the Cork package store, 3 East Silver St., officer reports subject of an outstanding warrant taken into custody, Marissa A. Decillis, 35, of 324 Russell Road arrested on warrant;
8:51 p.m.: suspicious activity, Ponders Hollow Road, caller reports hearing gun shots, four officers dispatched, report area search negative;
11:02 p.m.: incapacitated person Orange Street, report of an intoxicated person creating a disturbance, officer reports observing the intoxicated person, a friend came to take custody of that subject.
